After over two decades of showing Arabian horses, I thought it was time to start recording my experiences for the public to enjoy. It’s been a rollercoaster of a rider so far, and I highly doubt that will ever change!
I started showing horses in 2001 when I was in high school. My first rated class was in hunter pleasure at the Midwest Charity horse show, and it didn’t go as planned. I think I missed a lead, and I’m pretty sure nerves just got the best of me all around!
I switched to mostly dressage after that. We had three horses then, and two of them had shown previously. Thanks to friends, they helped me get started showing. I loved it, and that was that! I’m now here in 2025, still showing Arabian horses in dressage and hunter pleasure.
